I should have done more research before attempting this because as it turns out, you can't raid0 the system partition. I've done raid1 before, but apparently with raid0 you can only use it for data storage, not the OS. So, I started over, and am back to hardware raid0 for Win7. Now I'm going to try reinstalling Snow Leopard to its own single drive, but with the controller in raid mode. After using SL for a while, I find that for the day to day activities, I prefer Win7. I will still keep SL for music and video work. Wish me luck! Immediately get boot1 error on boot. I'm going to try a different method... hopefully today. When I get it done I'll be sure to post how I did it, with full hardware specs of my Hackintosh.
