Well, since I had to reinstall Win7 anyway (had the RC on, so had to install full retail version), so I decided to try using Windows' software raid0. I should have done more research before attempting this because as it turns out, you can't raid0 the system partition. I've done raid1 before, but apparently with raid0 you can only use it for data storage, not the OS.

So, I started over, and am back to hardware raid0 for Win7. Now I'm going to try reinstalling Snow Leopard to its own single drive, but with the controller in raid mode.

After using SL for a while, I find that for the day to day activities, I prefer Win7. I will still keep SL for music and video work.

Wish me luck!

My initial attempt on the i7 PC failed miserably. Immediately get boot1 error on boot. I'm going to try a different method... hopefully today. When I get it done I'll be sure to post how I did it, with full hardware specs of my Hackintosh.

Probably this blog will become something different. Like maybe on how to survive being laid off/unemployed. :-P

Anybody see this seasons's 2nd race in Jerez? Haden's finally making a come back! Boy, Pedrosa is going to be a tough one to be this year too. Rossi seems back in form, but lookout for the best bunch of rookies EVER! Rock on MOTOGP!

OK, maybe not soon. LOL

I'm going to have to consider whether this blog needs to exist, or if it should just be a page on the family blog. It is hard enough to find time to post to the family blog, which really is important, considering the constant activity in our family and all the extended family wanting to keep tabs on us from all over the world. Well... we'll see. Thanks for checking in!

BTW, all content, including this submenu are 100% made by myself... no stock photos, DVD Templates, etc. Which is probably why there's a problem with it! LOL

But it tests OK from within the program, and a pro said my menu seems to be correct (emailed the real deal to him). *shrug*
